What’s been happening:

Since December 2000 I have an independent living apartment in Greenspring, an Erickson retirement community in Springfield, Virginia, near the junction of the Washington Beltway and I-95 south to Richmond. With 2000 residents and most facilities we need -- dining, medical, pharmacy, fitness, pool, bank -- and lots of entertainment and companionship, I enjoy it very much, especially with no home and yard maintenance to worry about! My daughter, Nancy, lives only about 20 minutes driving time from here, and we enjoy dining in Washington restaurants and being close to visit.
